I set up a bloglines account. I don't really like having all these accounts with passwords set up on different websites. If I use the same password all the time, I think there's a greater likelihood of one of them being hacked. If I use different passwords, it's just one more thing to remember. Also some of them want the email address as a log-in and some just want the name.
I suppose bloglines is useful if you check 100's of blogs but I only read about 5-10 regularly. I used blogs I read regularly, like Bookslut and Tales from the Liberry.

I cannot agree with you more about the different passwords and IDs. One thing we should have been told when we started was to make a list of each site with your logon and your password - I like using the same id/password but sometimes you can't because of special requests like "needs a number." I realize that the passwords are a necessity but they can also be overwhelming and frustrating!
